Four clogs in one year

Inspection day turned into repair day

Our sewer camera inspection found the reason. The home’s original 1950s cast iron sewer had rusted through along the bottom of the pipe, which is where wastewater sits and corrosion does its worst damage. In places there was almost no pipe floor left. Waste was catching on the ragged edges, which explains why the clogs kept returning. A line in that condition can cave in at any time.

Why we didn’t wait

Our technician decided the risk of collapse was too high to put off. We lined all 67 feet that same day. We installed a cured-in-place pipe liner and cured it into a continuous new pipe with a smooth floor. The new pipe no longer depends on the rotted-out iron beneath it.

Stopping the rooter cycle
